Rapid advancements in automation, artificial intelligence, and globalization are transforming industries and labor markets worldwide. The ILO will focus on crafting labor policies that protect workers in the face of these changes, addressing job displacement, economic inequality, and workers’ rights. Delegates will delve into topics such as universal labor protections, reskilling initiatives, global standards for ethical AI in the workplace, and the creation of social safety nets to ensure equitable opportunities. As a Joint Crisis Special Committee member, the ILO will also collaborate with other committees to address real-time challenges that demand coordinated policy responses.
